Every blind we supply is made to measure, cut to the millimetre for a precise fit in any window size or shape, and delivered NZ-wide.
Our roller blind range includes sunscreen fabrics that maintain your view while reducing glare, thermal-backed options for better insulation during cooler months, and moisture-resistant fabrics suited to bathrooms and kitchens. Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between blockout, light-filter, and sunscreen roller blinds?
Blockout roller blinds use an opaque fabric that blocks virtually all light — ideal for bedrooms and media rooms. Light-filter fabrics diffuse incoming light like frosted glass — the room stays bright but you can't see through the blind in either direction, giving full daytime privacy. Sunscreen fabrics reduce glare and UV rays while keeping your outward view visible, making them popular for living rooms and offices with nice outlooks.
Can roller blinds be motorised?
Yes. Motorised roller blinds are available across our range and can be operated via a remote, wall switch, or smart-home system. Motorisation is especially practical for large windows, high windows, or anywhere a cord or chain is difficult to reach safely.
Are roller blinds suitable for bathrooms or kitchens?
Yes — many of our roller blind fabrics are moisture-resistant and easy to wipe clean, making them well suited to bathrooms, kitchens, and laundries. Look for fabrics described as moisture-resistant or water-repellent in the product listing. Avoid real timber or untreated natural fabrics in high-humidity areas.
How do I measure for a roller blind?
For an inside-recess fit, measure the exact internal width of the recess and the drop from the top of the recess to the sill. For an outside (face-fix) fit, measure the width of the window opening and add 50–100 mm each side to ensure full light coverage. Our measuring guide walks through both methods step by step.
What is the maximum width for a single roller blind?
Our roller blinds are available up to 2350 mm wide as a single blind. For windows wider than 2350 mm, a split (two-blind) installation with a small overlap in the centre is the solution — it's often a neater and more practical result than a single very wide blind anyway.
